Afghan for Afghan

Our Program is to build and recognise women and youth as the first responders to humanitarian crises. Through Afghan 4 Afghan, we have trained young women leaders as first responders to crisis and conflict prevention.

Kankor Fee

Every year, students from Afghanistan prepare to take the Kankor entrance exam to get into Afghanistan’s top universities. However, many girls cannot afford to take the preparation course for the Kankor exam and continue their dreams. But with your help, we can reach out to those who cannot afford the system.

Dignity Kits for IDPs

Dignity kits contain hygiene and sanitary items and other items explicitly tailored towards the local needs of Afghan women and girls of reproductive age in particular communities. Generic hygiene kits help people improve cleanliness (with soap, sanitary materials, toothbrushes, and toothpaste). Dignity kits help women and girls maintain their dignity during humanitarian crises. Preserving dignity is essential to maintaining self-esteem and confidence, which is important to cope with stressful and potentially overwhelming humanitarian situations. Supporting women’s self-esteem and confidence also assists them in providing care and protection to their children.

Emergency Food Packages

Many Afghans are affected by natural disasters, internal or cross-boundary conflicts, or large-scale economic turmoil. Providing these people with sufficient quantities of safe foods necessary for healthy and sustainable diets at the right time, in the right place, and consistently is challenging. Furthermore, with emerging pandemics such as COVID-19, there was a significant impact on local women and those at the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with civil society organizations’ help, we take urgent action and mitigate the impact by supporting young women to become the first responders to humanitarian crises.
